Built in 1776, this Grade II listed Georgian coaching inn offers a fine dining restaurant, bars and superb guest room accommodation.  The new owners, Wayne Lerigo and Erkan Balon, welcome all with great hospitality and service.

The inn is located in the village of Snainton, on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors between Pickering and Scarborough. A picturesque and peaceful retreat we are sure you will enjoy.

Stay with us

Enjoy a bed & breakfast stay with us in one of our five immaculately presented boutique style guest rooms. All are individually decorated and furnished for your comfort with garden views from the windows.

After a hearty breakfast served in the Snug, then a busy day out and about in North Yorkshire, we are sure you’ll have a great nights sleep here at The Coachman Inn.

Dine with us

All our ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible. Our meats are supplied by two renowned local butchers – ‘Glaves’ of Brompton and ‘The Horny Cow’ of Wilton and our fresh seafood is supplied by Dennis Crooks of Whitby.

Our restaurant is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal. All dishes are lovingly prepared by Head Chef Veysi Balon along with Sous Chef Karl Rothwell.
